Chicken Alfredo pizza is a great option for pizza night. The Homemade White Pizza Sauce really takes this pizza to the next level. I am one of those people that really just like to stick to plain pepperoni pizza. That is my go to. Any time I try something different, it may be good, but I still prefer pepperoni pizza. This Chicken Alfredo Pizza recipe is up there with pepperoni for me. Everyone loved it the night I made it for a large group. They all agreed the flavor from the sauce was excellent!
Ingredients for Chicken Alfredo Pizza
- Pillsbury thin crust pizza dough
- 1/2 lb chicken breast, cooked and diced
- 16 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 5 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
Utensils Needed
- Measuring spoons
- Measuring cups
- Small mixing bowl
- Spatula
- Cheese grater
- Cookie sheet
- Pizza cutter
- Parchment paper
Directions for Chicken Alfredo Pizza
Prep Time: 15 minutes / Cook Time: 12 – 20 minutes
- Make your pizza sauce first – recipe here
- Preheat over to 425 degrees.
- First place parchment paper on a cookie sheet or baking sheet.
- Then roll the dough out and use your hands to push into place.
- Top the pizza dough with the white pizza sauce.
- Add your chicken, then top with cheese.
- Place in the over for 12 – 20 minutes. Until cheese is melted.
Variations
- You can use any type of pizza dough or make your own. I find it easier to purchase pre-made.
- I use the Oscar Mayer carving board chicken package, I think 6 oz and cut that up for the chicken.
- You can sprinkle some Italian seasoning on the chicken before you top with cheese.
- Parmesan cheese would be good added to this.
