8 Can Taco Soup

This is one of those recipes that is so simple but has so much flavor to it. 8 Can Taco Soup is a great weeknight option as you can dump it in and let it simmer on your stove top. I find myself making this recipe to use up some random cans of beans in my pantry as it is super easy to change up this recipe. Hope you all enjoy this one as much as we have in our house.

Ingredients for 8 Can Taco Soup

  • 16 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 16 oz can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 16 oz can petite diced tomatoes, drained
  • 16 oz can corn, drained
  • One 12 oz can chicken, drained
  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 16 oz can chicken broth
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • All your favorite mixing, sour cream, cheese, onions, peppers, cilantro

Utensils Needed

Directions for 8 Can Taco Soup

Prep Time: 10 minutes / Cook Time: 3 hours

  1. Dump all ingredients into the crockpot and give it a good stir.
  2. Set the crockpot to low and let cook for three hours. Enjoy!

Variations

  • You can cook this on a stove top for an hour or so, just warm until simmering and serve.
  • You can add different beans to your liking.
