This BBQ Smokehouse Burger recipe is amazing! Growing up my Uncle made burgers that had a bit of sweetness to them and they almost caramelized on the outside while grilling them. To this day, those burgers have been one of my favorites so I have been on the hunt for a recipe that is similar. And I think this recipe is it! The sugar allows for the patty to caramelize on the outside and have a bit of sweetness to it. The liquid smoke gives it a hint of smokey flavor. Everything about this recipe I love!

Variations
- I used ground beef for my burgers.
- Next time I may add some bacon and shredded cheddar to the patties.
- I only had meat marinade for an hour and they turned out great, Next time I will let marinade overnight so sugar can dissolve more into the meat.
