Maid-Rites are a Midwest staple! I grew up eating this meal during the summer with chips and dip and sweet corn. About any side goes with this meal, green beans, cottage cheese, steamed broccoli, pasta salad, fries. The possibilities are endless with this main course. Best of all, if you are looking to cut the carbs, you can eat the meat with no bun and it still tastes just as good. Easy beef maid-rites is one of the first meals I learned to cook, as it is easy!

Directions for Easy Beef Maid-Rites
Cook Time: 20-30 minutes
- In your saute pan, add your ground beef. Cook on medium to medium high heat until browned. Use your meat chopper to chop the meat up well, as it cooks.
- Next, drain the grease with the strainer if there is any.
- Then return your saute pan to the stove top with the ground beef and add you chicken broth. Add enough broth to cover the ground beef, see picture below.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Continue to cook ground beef on medium high until chicken broth is evaporated. It should be simmering while it cooks off the broth.
- Serve ground beef on a hamburger bun with Kraft singles and ketchup.
