Grilled Greek Marinated Chicken is a great week night recipe. The night before or even in the morning before work, throw the chicken in the marinade. Pull it out for dinner and toss it on the grill. It is a simple dinner recipe that is healthy too! Would be a great recipe to meal prep for the week with. You can eat the chicken as is, add to a salad or a wrap for lunches. Overall I thought this was a great recipe. Some onion powder might go well with this recipe. I added extra red wine vinegar as I like the tangy taste it has.
Ingredients for Grilled Greek Marinated Chicken
- 1 lb raw boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Utensils Needed
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Ziploc bag
- Knife
- Tongs
Directions for Grilled Greek Marinated Chicken
Marinate Time: 1 – 24 hours / Prep Time: 5 minutes / Cook Time: 15 – 30 minutes
- Savory Nothings
- Add all ingredients to Ziploc bag. Mix around all the ingredients and gently massage chicken.
- Place in the fridge and let marinate for 1 – 24 hours.
- Preheat grill to 400 – 500 degrees.
- Remove chicken from marinade and place on the grill.
- Depending on chicken, it will take about 4 – 5 minutes a side.
- Remove from grill and enjoy!
Variations
- I cut my chicken breast up into 3 strips to get better flavor and it cooks much faster.
- You can cook this on the grill, in the oven or on the stove top. Cooking times will vary.
- Any part of the chicken would be fine with this recipe, we just prefer breast.
