Grandad’s Pizza Sauce recipe came from a family friend’s family. This sauce is so simple, quick to make, and has excellent flavor. I have tried many different pizza sauces in my life time and I am sure others have as well. This by far is my favorite and nothing seems to come close to its flavors. The rosemary really sets this recipe apart from others. I love to make pizza with it, dip bread sticks in it, or make it and save it in the fridge for a later date that week.

Directions for Grandad’s Pizza Sauce
Prep Time: 10 – 15 minutes
- In a medium sized sauce pan, dump all ingredients and mix.
- Place on the stove top on medium heat.
- Simmer for a few minutes.
- Let cool then assemble your pizza or use for dipping sauce.
Variations
- I use scissors and cut up the rosemary. I had biting into a big piece of that.
- This sauce saves well in the fridge so you can make it ahead of time.
- The Pillsbury dough in the refrigerator area at the store, I got the thin crust. It is actually really good for pre-made. And makes pizza making that much easier.
