French Onion Pork Chops is a very simple recipe with minimal ingredients. You would think you need to add some seasoning to the pork, but I promise it will have plenty of flavor with it. I do have to say, it is almost an over powering taste of onion to this recipe. My husband and I thought it was okay, but we are not onion people. So if you like french onion soup or the general taste of onion, this recipe is perfect for you.

Variations
- If I make this recipe again, I would replace sour cream with a can of cream of chicken soup. Also, the sour cream separates a bit, soup would solve this. You could even do 1 cup soup and 1/2 cup sour cream.
- You have to use thin cut pork chops. I cooked mine for 35 minutes and they could have used an additional 5 minutes. So make sure to check your pork chops before pulling.
- I would take the foil off for the last 5 – 10 minutes to crisp up the French Fried Onions.
- This would be good with chicken breast halved as well.
