Thin Mint Martini is all you need for dessert! If you love the Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, then you will love this drink. Adding just a splash of cream will make this drink a bit more smooth. This is probably one of my favorite martinis that I make. I have a lot I have tried, but this is one of the top choices.
Ingredients for Thin Mint Martini
- Ice
- Chocolate syrup
- 1 and 1/2 oz White Creme De Cacao
- 1 and 1/2 oz Baileys or Kahlua
- 1 and 1/2 oz Creme De Menthe
- Splash of cream or milk – optional
Utensils Needed
- Shaker – Seriously buy one of these insulated shakers, your hands will thank me!
- Shot glass
- Small plate
- Martini glass
Directions for Thin Mint Martini
Prep Time: 5 minutes
- On a small plate, dump chocolate syrup in a circle.
- Dip glass into the chocolate so it coats the rim.
- Take the chocolate syrup and drizzle in a circle on the inside of the glass.
- Next, fill shaker with ice.
- Then add all the alcohol to shaker.
- Put the lid on and shake for 2 minutes or so.
- Dump alcohol into martini glass, without the ice. Enjoy!
Variations
- My store is out of White Creme De Cacao, so I used regular. Not sure how much of a difference it makes other than color.
- I use Baileys, but you can also use Kahlua instead, it will be a stronger drink.
- You can crush up thin mint cookies and add to rim of the glass. I prefer not to.
- Adding milk or cream will take some of the burn out of the martini. I make it without.
- You can still make a martini even if you do not have martini glasses. I have made these in hotel plastic cups. Still taste just as great!
