Bacon Blue Cheese Butter! I love blue cheese, I always have. I will eat it plain any day. So I love this recipe to use on burgers or steaks. If you are someone that does not like blue cheese, you will not like this. When I made this, we had it on burgers, then the next night on steaks. I thought it went way better with steak. This recipe made a lot more than I expected. I would suggest cutting the recipe in half. And also planning more than one meal around it.
Ingredients for Bacon Blue Cheese Butter
- 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Directions for Bacon Blue Cheese Butter
Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Place all ingredients in the food processor.
- Mix until combined. May need to scrape sides as you mix.
- You can serve right away or place in the fridge for later.
Variations
- I used garlic out of a jar. You can use that or fresh.
- You can use pre-cooked bacon and just cut it up. Way easier than cooking bacon for this.
- Make sure the butter and cream cheese are softened as it will not mix well.
- Once this is all mixed, it is like a soft butter. If you put it in the fridge, it will turn to hard butter. I warmed it up a bit to make it easier to spread when I took it out of the fridge.
