Chicken Cordon Bleu Plated

Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu is a recipe I have been on the hunt for awhile. Chicken Cordon Bleu is a great recipe in general but I wanted an easy option, with the least amount of dishes. When I came across this recipe, I was excited to give it a try. This recipe turned out great! While it bakes, the soup mixture turns into more of a sauce. When I make this recipe again, I would serve with a side of rice or pasta. I love to serve peas with Chicken Cordon Bleu but really any vegetable would be a good side.

  • 1 cup sour cream

Variations

  • I prefer swiss cheese with Chicken Cordon Bleu so that is what I used.
  • Next time I make this, I will cut chicken up, then add cut up ham, and then cut up cheese. When you go to serve and cut the chicken, everything kind of falls apart.
  • You could serve with a side of mashed potatoes.
  • For a healthier option you could use whole wheat bread crumbs, and reduce the amount of sour cream and soup.
