Parmesan and Herb Crusted Salmon Plated

Parmesan and Herb Crusted Salmon is a great option for a quick healthy dinner. Takes no time at all to mix the ingredients. Salmon also cooks pretty quick. Overall this was a pretty simple tasty recipe. Not much I would change on this. When I made it, I was only making one piece of salmon so I cut ingredients into thirds. I thought my recipe for Parmesan Asparagus went excellent as a side with this.

Ingredients for Parmesan and Herb Crusted Salmon

  • 1 and 1/2 lbs Atlantic Salmon
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • Cracked black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Utensils Needed

  • Medium sized mixing bowl
  • Table spoon
  • 9 x 13 baking dish, greased

Directions for Parmesan and Herb Crusted Salmon

Prep Time: 5 minutes / Cook Time: 12 – 15 minutes

  2. Preheat over to 425 degrees.
  3. In the bowl, mix Parmesan, mayo, garlic, parsley.
  4. Rinse salmon and then pat dry.
  5. Salt and pepper salmon on both sides.
  6. Place skin side down in greased baking dish.
  7. Top with mixture out of the bowl.
  8. Bake uncovered for 12 – 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Variations

  • You could add some lemon zest to the crust mixture or even cook the salmon on sliced lemons.
  • Add some bread crumbs on top to make it a little more crispy.
  • I did broil mine for about 1 minute to crisp up the top.
