Italian Marinated Chicken Plated

Italian Marinated Chicken is one of my favorite Summer recipes. My Mom had never made this recipe for us kids until I was in high school. When I asked why she never makes it, it is because my Dad does not care for it. All of us kids loved it so she made it more often after that. Ever since then, it has been one of those recipes I look forward to making during the Summer. The Italian dressing really gives the chicken a tangy flavor. The chicken soaks up the flavor really nicely. Best part about this recipe is the left over chicken is amazing on a salad! I always serve this chicken with a side of my Steamed Broccoli or Parmesan Asparagus and rice.

Variations

  • You can use any cut of chicken, we just prefer chicken breast.
  • The chicken can be cut up and made into kabobs. It adds even more flavor this way, just more work.
  • I really like to get a nice char on these, it really adds to the flavor.
  • I have made these in the oven once, they did not taste the same and I did not care for it.
  • You could try this on pork chops or venison chops. I have never tried as I do not think the Italian dressing will go well.
